Q: How do you handle defective products?
A: Firstly, our products undergo strict quality control, resulting in a defective rate of less than 0.2%.
Secondly, during the warranty period, we will send new batteries with a new order for small quantities. For defective
batch products, we will repair them and resend them to you, or we can discuss a solution, including a recall, depending on the situation.
Q: Can I connect batteries in series and parallel?
A: Yes, you can. The maximum number of batteries connected in parallel is 4. There are no limitations for series connections.
Q: Can I connect a 100 Ah battery to a 200 Ah battery?
A:No, you can't. All the batteries you connect together should be the same capacity (Ah), the same voltage (V), and most importantly, the same battery type (AGM). And it would be better if they come from the same brand.
4.Q:What's the best way to place and store this battery?
A:It's a sealed battery and we recommend placing the battery upright. It is allowed to be placed and installed on its side only if there are special reasons for doing so. DO NOT place the battery upside down. You should store it in a dry and cool (5°F~104°F / -15°C~40°C) place. Make sure that it is 100% charged before storing it, and recharge after three months.
Q:Can I discharge the battery to 0% and then recharge it again?
A:To avoid cycle life shortening, it is recommended not to discharge the battery below 50%. And when not in use, we recommend charging it 100% before storing it and recharging it after three months.
Q:I will go to live in my forest cabin during the winter holiday. So I want to know that can this battery be used at freezing temperatures?
A:The discharge working temperature range is 5°F~122°F (-15°C~50°C) and the charge temperature range is 5°F~104°F (-15°C~40°C). Using this battery at a lower or higher temperature than the range will shorten the battery's lifespan. We recommend checking the specific daily temperature of the place you will be going before using this AGM battery.
Q:
Would 2 100ah batteries be better or the same as 1 of the 200ah?
A:
As far as capacity goes it's the same. However, 2 100 ah batteries would be better than 1 200 ah battery. This is because if anything ever happens to the 1 200 ah hour battery your screwed until you get another one. But, if anything ever happens to one of your 2 100 ah hour batteries, you at least have that second one
Q:
I am using 17k watt power per day. how many of this battery will I be needed for my power bank?
A:
Dividing 17 kilowatt hours (kWh) by 12 volts I get 1417 amp hours. Batteries should be discharged to a maximum of 50% to provide reasonable service life. You would need 2834 amp hours of the rated capacity at 12 volts to operate and survive a couple years of the repeated discharge cycles. You need 15 of the 200Ah batteries (or 29 100Ah batteries.) Don't forget that you will also need to have approximately 20 kWh (1700Ah @ 12 volts) per day of charging capacity to accommodate battery storage and discharge inefficiencies.
